It had been a fun battle for both Officer Jenny and Byron. He had gotten off to an early lead with his Metagross, rendering Jenny’s Garbodor pretty much useless. However, Jenny’s Emboar caught Byron offguard and knocked out his Metagross with a Flamethrower that also caused a burn.
Metagross did manage to do some damage to Emboar, and his next Pokémon, Skarmory, delivered a swift Aerial Ace to finish Emboar off. Last up was Jenny’s trump card, Stunfisk. However, Stunfisk’s Thunder attack missed twice, and Skarmory hit multiple times, eventually knocking it out.
Jenny and Byron shooks hands and complimented each other. Byron was moving onto the next round of his tournament, where he’d be fighting either Fire or Ash. He knew his work would be cut out for him.
